I am very pleased to begin my term of office at the Embassy on the occasion of the 30 th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Viet Nam and Belarus (January 24, 1992 - January 24, 2022). I am pleased to see that political relations between Viet Nam and Belarus are highly reliable. The two sides maintain regular political contacts, continue to implement agreements reached during the high-level visits of the two countries' leaders, actively implement the Free Trade Agreement between Viet Nam and countries of the Eurasian Economic Union to which Belarus is a member, strengthen cooperation in security, defense, education, science, culture, tourism and many other fields, cooperation between localities of the two countries. Along, Viet Nam and Belarus also closely cooperate and support each other in international fora.
Facing temporary difficulties caused by the Covid-19 pandemic, the two sides strive to regain dynamic, restore and further improve cooperation indicators. With the tradition of 30 years of accompanying, shoulder-to-shoulder, overcoming all difficulties in order to consolidate and deepen the traditional friendship and multifaceted cooperation, Viet Nam and Belarus will definitely achieve more success for the benefits of the two peoples.
It is hoped that the information on this website will contribute to further enhancing mutual understanding and promoting the development cooperation relationship between our two countries Viet Nam and Belarus.
